Welcome! Are you struggling with discovering your passion and purpose in life? Do you have a stuck mindset and unsure how to overcome it? Do you feel torn between finding yourself and setting boundaries? Are you a person of color and struggling with being yourself in the world? Are you having a difficult time with life adjustments and feel that no one understands you? Are you looking for tools to help you with emotionally healing and re-establishing a balance?
With my welcoming spirit and down-to-earth style, I will strive to honor your story and create a space for you to be yourself. I invite clients to shift from a mindset of needing to fit in a box and be curious about their experiences. You can expect to be accepted and the center of your journey. I will rely on your expertise (lived experiences) to develop goals and objectives that are realistic and aligned with your desired outcome. There is no pressure to have a right answer or be "normal." Normal is strange and strange is normal.
With over 12 years of experience, I have provided behavioral and mental health services across generations in a variety of settings. Also,
I enjoy facilitating trainings and have served as a college professor. My areas of focus include life adjustments, depression, anxiety, trauma, colorism, issues impacting women and girls, and relationship issues. My goal is engage, educate and empower others to be resilient despite challenging circumstances.
I strategically position myself to ignite opportunities, address health disparities, and elevate the voices of Black women, girls, communities, and mental health clinicians. I am responding to an unmet need in the community and answering the necessity of uniquely designed services. When I am not providing therapy services, I offer coaching and consulting services for individuals, groups and organizations on transitioning from stagnant to stable mindsets in their personal and professional lives.
Credentials: I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical substance abuse counselor in the state of Wisconsin.
