Dr. Dominique Pritchett, Psy.D., LCSW, CSAC
CEO/Owner & Licensed Mental Health Clinician

Dr. Dominique — a multi-passionate mental health clinician, speaker and creative entrepreneur. With over 12 years of experience, she has provided behavioral and mental health services across generations in a variety of settings and has taught at the collegiate level. When she isn't providing therapy services, she consults and coaches mental health clinicians on navigating a plan-based roadmap to maximize their purpose, productivity and profit.

 

Dr. Dominique strategically positions herself to ignite opportunities, address health disparities, and elevate the voices of Black women, girls, communities, and mental health clinicians. She is responding to an unmet need in the community and answering the necessity of uniquely designed services.

 

Her areas of expertise include issues related to race-related stressors, relationship issues, life adjustments, colorism, trauma, parentification, depression, and anxiety. She chose these areas because they chose her. Dr. Dominique's love languages are to engage, educate and empower others to be resilient despite challenging circumstances. 

 

Dr. Dominique is trained in the Relational Re-Enactment Systems Approach to Treatment (REStArT℠) model’s principles and interventions, family systems therapy (FST), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFT), motivational interviewing (MI), Alternatives to Sexual Assault Program (ASAP) for youth, crisis management, integrated healthcare, and aggression replacement training (ART). These trainings have provided the knowledge, skills and abilities to guide her clients towards mental wellness. Her therapeutic approach focuses on the uniqueness of each human-being and the systems that connects one's life. 

She received her doctorate degree with honors in clinical psychology from Capella University, masters degree from Loyola University of Chicago in clinical social work, bachelors degree from Carthage College in social work, and alcohol and drug certification is from Gateway Technical College. 

Dr. Dominique's style is down-to-earth, person-centered and strength-based which are powerful in building an alliance and rapport throughout treatment. With her warm and welcoming spirit, she strives to honor your story without judgement.

Dr. Monica Cummings, D. Min., SAC-IT, RYT® 200
Substance Abuse Counselor - In Training & Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor

Dr. Cummings a substance abuse counselor - in training and certified yoga and meditation instructor. Her experiences in the Army, Peace Corp, ministry and teaching at regional universities have allowed her to be of service to others through an inclusive, non-judgmental, compassionate, and relational approach to counseling.

She is trained in trauma sensitive yoga and meditation which influences her practice and identity as a substance use counselor - in training as they can help individuals reconnect with themselves mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually throughout the healing process. As a trained pastoral counselor, Dr. Cummings is willing and able to work with clients who want to engage in conversations about the role or relationship that their belief system as on their life and treatment. 

Dr. Cummings has extensive experience as a speaker on topics such as the influence of culture and spiritual/religious beliefs on treatment outcomes, influence of culture on identity formation, LGBT in religious communities, gender and identify expression, substance addiction education, and bereavement and end-of-life care.  

She received her doctor of ministry in pastoral care and counseling as well as her masters of divinity from Claremont School of Theology, and bachelors degree in political science from Rutgers University - Camden.
