Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is provided to clients on a one-on-one basis with a therapist while working together to solve the client's concerns.

Family Therapy

Family therapy focuses on the family as a unit and you define who makes up your family. Treatment concerns are different for each family based on culture, unique differences, and stage of treatment. Each family member is encouraged to work on themselves and together to better understand how strengthen the family unit as a whole. Family therapy can teach skills and break down barriers to deepening the family connection and get through stressful times, even after attending sessions.

Group Therapy

Group therapy typically involves 5 to 10 clients and meeting times vary. Some people attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only. Many groups are designed to target a specific problem such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social skills, etc. Also, groups may be exclusive towards a specific population due to their unique and unshared experiences. Benefits of group therapy include a support network, diversity, accountability, and different perspectives around your treatment concerns.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a valued activity for professional learning and development. It ensures that supervisees obtain advanced knowledge to strengthen their skills and abilities which can be applied to client populations in an ethical and competent manner. The activities of supervision are captured by three primary domains that may overlap: administrative, educational, and supportive. If you are a master's level student and seeking a clinical placement, please email your resume/CV and cover letter with three professional references to info@belovedwellnesscenter.com. This service is not for clients.

Wellness Consulting

Consulting answers a specific problem using expertise and experience through teaching, facilitating or training. Often, consultations will be a short-term engagement on one specific topic, but on occasion, they can be long-term. Consultants work with individuals, groups and organizations. We have several packages which can be customized to your unique needs. To book a consultant, please email info@belovedwellnesscenter.com or click here to submit a contact form.
