We provide services to children, adolescents and adults through individual, family and group therapy to those residing in Wisconsin. Our services are delivered to women and girls ages 12 and older. We believe in educating our clients about a variety of approaches that may be included in their treatment such as psychotherapy, expressive therapies, and skill development. Our team members have a broad range of experience and are able to help with many of life's challenges. Services may be provided face-to-face or via teletherapy through a secured and confidential platform.
Individual therapy is provided to clients on a one-on-one basis with a therapist while working together to solve the client's concerns.
Family therapy focuses on the family as a unit and you define who makes up your family. Treatment concerns are different for each family based on culture, unique differences, and stage of treatment. Each family member is encouraged to work on themselves and together to better understand how strengthen the family unit as a whole. Family therapy can teach skills and break down barriers to deepening the family connection and get through stressful times, even after attending sessions.
Group therapy typically involves 5 to 10 clients and meeting times vary. Some people attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only. Many groups are designed to target a specific problem such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social skills, etc. Also, groups may be exclusive towards a specific population due to their unique and unshared experiences. Benefits of group therapy include a support network, diversity, accountability, and different perspectives around your treatment concerns.
Clinical supervision is a valued activity for professional learning and development. It ensures that supervisees obtain advanced knowledge to strengthen their skills and abilities which can be applied to client populations in an ethical and competent manner. The activities of supervision are captured by three primary domains that may overlap: administrative, educational, and supportive. If you are a master's level student and seeking a clinical placement, please email your resume/CV and cover letter with three professional references to firstname.lastname@example.org. Clinical Consultation is conducted one-on-one or in a group setting and is focused on particular needs as a therapist. Getting consultation from a non-judgemental, culturally sensative and caring consultant may help you with: case conceptualization, mastering new interventions, transforming countertransference, setting clear boundaries, business development, and more. There is no need to feel embarrassed or afraid of reaching out for support. Consultation is critical for long-term success as a therapist and a lack of support can contribute to burnout.
